Koa is the youngest member of our family pack. He was born at the Vom Banach Kennels in Port Orchard, Washington. His sire is V (LGZS) Aron Vom Poppitz Sch 3 Kkl 1(http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/444418.html)
and his dam is SG Sindy Vom Ludwigseck Sch 1 Kkl 2
Koa has grown to be an outstanding young dog. He has a very warm, stable temperament and is outgoing and courageous when entering new, unfamiliar situations. Koa is a perfect candidate for an ambassador of the German Shepherd Dog. His easy going disposition and trustworthy nature endear him to all that have the pleasure of meeting and interacting with him.
Koa has begun his training in search and rescue with the Columbia SAR Alliance as a cadaver/human remains detection k9. He is a joy to work with and we expect that he will be certified and working before the end of 2010.
